Hi I am Anne from Germany. I am an open minded woman which loves to travel and hang around with other people. I quit my job in Hamburg to see one of the most beautiful parts of the world: New Zealand!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I like to get to know different countries, cultures and people. It is much more interesting/exciting to get to know the country by inhabitants who can show me their home area, exciting places and hot spots instead of staying at a hotel. Mi casa es tu casa.

Interests

Next to traveling and seeing the world, different countries and cultures, I love all about food (especially asian and italian food). I like to try new recipes and love to cook for me, family and friends. Going to museums and seeing different arts are part of my interests as well.
I am interested in a spiritually way of live, learning about health, yoga, and a different lifestyle.

I also try to be active ( jogging,swimming etc ) as often as possible to stay fit/ challenge my body.I love to be in the nature .....always try to start something outdoors.
Last but not least I am a fan of interior design, nature and furniture. My dream is to own a tree house and let this to other people to have a nice and unforgettable stay ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

You can find most of the music I am listening to running up and down on the radio. Like pop, rock , house,... but also Jazz! A dream of mine is to sit in a jazz lounge like it was back in the 1950th.

As traveling is my passion, I love to read travel guides from all over the world. But also novels when I am about to travel or as often I have some time left.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an Au Pair in the United States for one year. Which means I have seen great places and cities and met wonderful people!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in learning other languages, even just phrases or words. I could teach the german culture, food and language.

I would like to share my well-spaced, lovely decorated and very personal apartment where I hope you will feel comfortable. I can show you around in my chosen home Hamburg which is a wonderful city with a lot of water, nice places and hot spots. Trust and honesty regarding hosts.
