I live in Alaska but am not able to host here, so I have my location set as Sequim Washington (my hometown), because sometimes my parents are able to host, and I facilitate :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE reading. I can be infinitely happy curled up with tea and a good book. I guess I identify with CS Lewis on that count! "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." Mostly I like to read mystery and historical fiction.

Music has always been a passion of mine. I have a degree in opera performance, but I listen to all kinda of music. Mostly rock, folk, indie, and quite a bit of classical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Singing in Notre Dame cathedral and the Basilica San Marco... Most of the sights that have literally moved me to tears have been during flights or flightseeing... flying around Denali, over Greenland, the Juneau Icefield, Wrangell-St. Elias...

Well my hometown is known for lavender, so likely something having to do with that :) or photography. I would love to send hosts a print from my trip when I return home!

I'm also more than willing to cook dinner!
