About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, learn, learn! I have an unrelenting thirst for knowledge, so come share with me (and I don't mean that in a seedy way :P)

ABOUT ME

I procrastinate on a regular basis. I am procrastinating now. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

What's yours? My mind is a sponge...

In a nutshell though - the environment and the empowerment of women are two core issues that underpin how I live my life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Keen to meet fellow couch surfers and new and exciting people in general. I've been to a few local meetings (in Norwich) and, I keep up regularly with a few couch surfers - what an amazing bunch of people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Sicily and across Norway, Finland, Sweden and Germany - fantastic experience! Recently couch surfed (through a friend) with an amazing person (now friend) in Turkey!

Interests

Cream tea and scones, hiking, mountains, reading, eating, sharing, the snow, travelling, learning, arctic landscapes, legal systems, woollen socks, toasted italian bread, good conversation, and those friendly people that honestly just make your day. Oh and mayonnaise, I love mayonnaise.

Music, Movies & Books

So many argghhh...

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I can't remember it very well, but I'm sure it was amazing watching my younger sister being born. It's certainly not something you witness everyday!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a thing or two about the Australian legal system, especially how crap it is haha... no seriously, if you're interested I am more than happy to teach anyone about the Anglo-saxon adversarial legal system (and its shortcomings), and if you come from a country that has a different system, I would love to hear your thoughts on it! I'll forgive you though if you don't want to discuss this topic (or anything even slightly related), you're not alone there. ;)

I'm not a bad cook, and I'm always looking for opportunities to share, learn and experience more recipes and anything food related.

The above are just two topics that I'm interested in teaching, learning and sharing. There are so many more things that I would love to teach, learn and share with you though. Basically, I live to learn.

Countries I've Visited

Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In

Australia, United Kingdom
