ABOUT ME
I'm 21 years old. I live in a small village in Belgium so I do not have a big city mentality. Most people I know say I'm a little bit crazy (i don't know why).I'm a friendly girl/woman who tries to keep an open mind but at some points I'm a little bit conservative (you'll find out).
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosofy is that you should try to have as much fun as you possibly can have, because you only live once and live is really short. A second philosofy of mine is that you can achieve anything you want when you are 200% behind the choices you make.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Because I still live with my parents who do not want to have backpackers in their house, I can't offer a couch to people who travel to Belgium. But in a few years when i'm on my own I will also offer my couch for people who backpack through Europe, because I would love to guide people through Belgium.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is my first couchsurfing experience. In september it's the first time I will make a long trip on my own.
Interests
As a tourism student I'm very interested in other countries and other cultures. When I travel I also do my best to make contact with the locals. This is also the reason why I do not like places that are a little to touristic. I also love to hike our travel on bycicle to beautiful places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I do not see many movies because I think movies of the last few years are not of the highest quality. For books I usually like the ones with stories that actually happened. For music I try to keep an open mind for all kinds of music, but the music I prefer the most is commercial. I do not like house music and technostyle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing that I have ever done is go with to friends to California to make a road trip. I met a lot of nice people there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think couchsurfing is a very nice initiative because it's the perfect way to meet local people. It's the perfect way to find out how people live in other countries and local people know much more then travel guides and books.
