I'm an Australian currently living in the Rockies in Colorado. I'm having a year off studying speech pathology to experience the USA, which has been great so far. I'm about to embark on a big road trip with my best friend from LA to Washington.

I was recently told about couchsurfing.com by a few different people who've had fantastic experiences with couch surfing. I was planning on just staying in hostels throughout my USA travels but decided to give couch surfing a go, as I really want to meet amazing locals :)

I volunteered in Nepal when I was 15 in different orphanages and hospitals. It was a really eye-opening and wonderful experience. The people there are beautiful!
