ABOUT ME

I'm a girl from the netherlands and living in 's-Hertogenbosch with my boyfriend Sven. It's a nice city in the middle/south of Holland. I like sewing, music, cooking, doing stuff in the squated community space (vereniging ontspoord) and lots of other things.
I try to live in a way that is good for other people, environement friendly and also good to animals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Till now, I've hosted a few people. Ifind hospitality an important and cosy value. It's not so common in the Netherlands and I would like to see that change :)!
I see couch surfing as a good way to discover the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There are a lot of people surfing on my couch but not yet due the couchsurfers website.
I only surfed one couch so far but it was a great experience. Hope to surf a lot of other couches in the future!

Interesses

Listening to music,playing little accordion and a little bit guitar, yoga, making pies (sometimes vegan), cooking in general, hand crafts, biking on my racing bike, hiking in nature, spending time with my friends, playing games, , eating, laughing...pfff, lot's of things.

Music:
Lots off fifties,rock&roll,swing and surf music like Wynonie Harris, Wanda Jackson, the Trashman,the Shadows, Hasil Adkins. Also like things as Inner Terrestrials, Leftover Crack, Gogol Bordello, Heavy Trash, Admiral Freebee,the Specials, the Skatalites,Sonic Youth, Nouvelle Vague and lots of other things.
Books:
I like reading but don't find much time for it..Like books as 'the unbearable lightness of being', 'the joke','boy a'.
Movies:
Citade Deus (city of God), Mary&Max, Everything is Illuminated, La Haine, Pulp Fiction

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I really like mountains. Being in the mountains in the Gruyère in Switzerland was great, seeing Capricorns from a few meters distance. Also Mount Etna on Sicily was impressive it was all covered in snow and felt almost surrealistic.

I like to have conversations with people, learning new things by looking at things from other perspectives. Also really like to learn new things in making music and learn new recipes.
