ABOUT ME

I'm a new couchsurfer and got introduced to it from my friend Sonsy, which a admire for her openness and curiosity. I love to travel for many reasons - but when I travel I always want to explore and understand the local culture and society. I become a sort of anthopologist and love how travelling also makes you understand more about yourself and your own culture.
Besides exploring culture, I seek out nature and like to do hiking, trekking and climbing.

I'm a very open, social and curious person, who loves to dance, debate, eat good food, read books, go to concerts ect. ect. I enjoy quiet moments with friends as much as partying, dancing etc - I need a good balance of being active and relaxed.

For the moment I live with my boyfriend Lasse in our small two-room apartment in Copenhagen. Our budget has been quite small the past years, so we haven't been able to travel much, and that's why I see couchsurfing as a great opportunity to meet the world at my doorstep. When we get the chance (time + money) I have so many destinations I want to visit, and then I will try out Couchsurfing for the first time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfers are more than welcome to write and I will be the best guide to Copenhagen and outskirts as I can be. I've never had a couchsurfer sleep over -and I've never tried it -but some day soon i'm going to.
For the moment I don't have room for any surfers at my place.

Besides that I have joined the Copenhagen-group and hope to meet some people through this network to expand my horizon without travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but looking forward to try it out.

I'm a very curious person and I have a lot of interests -and always want to do more than whats possible time-wise. Music, movies, food, dance, urban planning/urban street culture are some of my main interests. I've danced salsa, samba, Tanzanian and Afrocuban dance -and probably some more which I'm forgetting.
Right now (in my sparetime) I'm slowly learning how to climb and trying to play the cajon (a percussion instrument). My hopes are to start a small amateur band with some of my friends.

I also love books, but unfortunately don't get to read as many as I would like to.
