ABOUT ME

Me....I'm a dreamer, an adventurer, a risk taker (yet still get a bit scared here and there). I love to travel, be in nature, cook, take photos, meet people, LIVE LIFE! I want to see more art, architecture, and beautiful landscapes. I want to hear new music and new stories.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy can be summed up by the following quote by Mr. Mark Twain.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and I hopefully will host when I get a place (depending on how my roommates feel). Most of all I spread the word on what a great experience I have had surfing and the great people you get to meet along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some couchsurfing around the US and I have had a great experience. My hosts in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida were great. They were very inviting, helpful, and just overall great people. I can't wait to couchsurf around the world next!

Update: I have couchsurfed a little bit while traveling through Europe and yet again...a wonderful experience! I have met some lovely people from all different backgrounds and I can't wait to continue surfing.

Hmmmm.....soooo many things. I'm always interested in having an adventure whatever it maybe. It can be from hiking the Appalachians to skydiving to traveling the world to even as simple as a little adventure of meeting someone new in a coffee shop. There is so much out there.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies...love!! However, my favorites...the Princess Bride, Indian Jones Trilogy, Serendipity, Miracle, Remember the Titans, Cars, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter...
Music....I love to be exposed to all types of music. Going to a live show is awesome. Interests ranges from things like DMB, Jack Johnson, Daughtry, Ingrid Michaelson, to classic rock, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, to classical (love Vavaldi), to jazz, to blues, to Broadway, to rock, to alternative, whatever catches my ear.
Books....recently I have been reading Vagabonding by Rolf Potts. Some of my favorite books the Alchemist, Shadow of the Wind, the Celestine Prophecy, Why is God Laughing, books are great :o) I just wish I had more time to read them......

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Things done and seen....bungee jumping, rock climbing, snowboarding, falling in love, catering a wedding, photographing a wedding, seeing a shooting star.....an amazing starlit night in the middle of nowhere in New Zealand. Hopefully my list will grow soon :o)
