Hi! I'm Anni, a 19-year old girl from Finland. I live with my mom and dad, little brother and our dog ten minutes from the centre of Helsinki, the capital city. I've had many kinds of hobbies from tennis to gymnastics, but the ones that are most important to me are horseback riding, dance, playing the piano, singing and snowboarding. I went to a performing arts upper secondary school (high school) and my main subjects were music, speech communication, theater light tecnics and media. In my spare time I like to hang out with my friends and spend time outside, because nature is extremely important to me. I believe in sustainable living and I love animals, so I eat vegetarian based food and try to be as eco-friendly as possible every day. I've worked as a waitress for 8 months in a busy coffee shop and as a babysitter and a camp instructor for young kids. Now I work as a telephone interviewer in a marketing research company. I'm very outgoing, positive and have a good sense of humour. I love travelling and learning about new cultures.

I'm travelling in Central- and South-America for four months with my good friend Hilda. We're going to Cuba, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and Peru (in this order). Our trip is from the end of December to April. We'd love to stay at some fun locals houses rather than always going to a hostel or hotel. It would be a great way to meet new people and experience local culture in a hole new level.

My favourite kind of music is classic rock, indie folk and R&B. Most listened artist being Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, Dark Dark Dark and The Kinks.

I love a lot of movies but my absolute favourites are The Lord Of The Rings trilogies, Harry Potter movie series, Batman: The Dark Night and Four Weddings And A Funeral.

I've enjoyed reading many books but the ones that are most important to me are The Catcher In The Rye and Looking For Alaska. I also love Agatha Christies detective novels and the Harry Potter books.
