我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I feel like I'm only hanging out with people from my uni nowadays, thought it would be refreshing to meet some new folks. Especially native English, French or Swedish speakers (roughly the same age as I am) would be great so I could improve my language skills.

兴趣

I really enjoy cooking and baking (and eating as well :P). My speciality would be the French macarons, which I learnt to make perfectly after half a year of trying different recipes and techniques!

My other interests include art (visiting art museums, occasionally making snow sculptures myself and anything in between), languages, theatre, nature (love taking long walks in the forest) and well travelling, of course.

I am quite an eager reader when I'm not too exhausted by my thick study books. My favourite ones have been the Shining, Pride and Prejudice, Little Prince, Brothers Lionheart and Harry Potters.

Examples of movies I've liked would be: Breakfast at Tiffany's, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, and Casablanca

Music-wise I listen to quite a lot of slightly older classics (probably spent too much time with my mom!), the Beatles being my all-time favourite.

I've done many fairly amazing things when travelling but still I think the most amazing one would be just sitting in the backyard and watching northern lights dance in the sky. It's not super exotic here in Finland but it sure is the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.
