I'm a very social, approachable and respectful person who loves to meet people and make new friends. I can be very quiet at times as I do appreciate to be by myself sometimes, but I can also be bold when the time is right!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because a friend recommended it to me. I am currently travelling in the United States for the summer and it seems to be a great alternative to hostels. I like the idea of making new acquaintances and possibly friends everywhere you go. I've sometimes been in hostels where nobody talks to each other and, to me, it kind of defeats the purpose. I also really like the Hangout concept of the Couchsurfing app.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: I really enjoy a broad variety of music. I like Blues, Country, Jazz, Crooners, Pop, Classic Rock, Rock n' Roll, etc. The only type of music I don't like is anything hip-hop & rap (for the most part. Some exceptions.)

Favorite Movies: These categories are so broad! I love anything from Harry Potter, to Marvel/DC, to Nicholas Sparks romances, to Star Wars/LOTR, to the James Bond/Jason Bourne series. I enjoy fantasy, superheroes, romance, science-fiction, and action-packed movies :)

I will add that amongst my favorite tv shows you can find: Psych, Supernatural, HIMYM, Gilmore Girls and Stranger Things (can't wait for season 2!!!).

My favorite books: I always enjoyed fantasy and romance novels, but I recently discovered science-fiction! I am not an avid reader, but I do enjoy a good book once in a while. The book that made me fall in love with Sci-Fi was "Dune" (Frank Herbert). I've then started to read some Philip K. Dick, which I also really enjoyed, and am now currently reading Ursula K. Le Guin's "Left Hand of Darkness" (which seems promising!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If we are talking about one amazing life-changing thing I did I would say that I recently changed my life completely because I realized I hated it. I left everything behind and left to travel for the summer, just me and my backpack. I am pretty grateful for that experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Social dancing! I love Swing Dancing and I am always opened to teach it and share it with people around me. I love to learn about a lot of things. I am very curious and interested by nature. Dance, music, languages, cultures, games, etc.!
