ABOUT ME

My name is Annie, I'm 25 years old and have just finished a Musical theatre course in Hamburg, I am staring another one in November, which means I now have a few months of free time to travel and explore.

One of my best friends once said that she'd always think 'Annie always wants the best for everyone' when she thought about be, which is my biggest strength and weakness as well.
I am really open minded, love singing and dancing and enjoy socializing with new people. I am obsessed with musicals and the theatre, love books and movies.
I prefer going out to a pub or bar than clubbing, but I do really enjoy crowded concerts and tiny gigs or open mic sessions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up here because I needed a host whilst I was travelling through England and had a really good experience.

I actually heard about couch surfing when I was taking my exams ( A-Levels), but I mean literally while I was taking them, In the English exam there was a text about couch surfing and we had to write an essay about it.

Interests

Swing/ Lindy hop; ballet; jazz and Tap- dancing
Singing (acoustic guitar and a nice camp fire and off we go. )
Reading
Musicals (cannot get enough)

Really enjoy swimming as well, haven't done it in ages though :(

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really into musical show tunes also Disney of course, swing music is a passion, rockabilly and rock 'n' roll, jazz, blues, but I'll enjoy some indie rock and pop as well.

Movies, that ever difficult question.
First of all: musical movies, mouling rouge, hairspray, grease, les Miz, A chorus line ect.
second of all Disney! every movie ever made from Disney, yes, yes I am that person
than there is the ones that really make you think: fight club, requiem for a dream, trainspotting, cloud atlas
I could go on forever, someone stop me!

Also Harry Potter obviously, books and movies.

Books. Don't even let me start. I really like Stephen king, I love novels that eventually became musicals, there is no limits in books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoy the small things, like the bar they set up in the phoenix theater before the performance and during the break of once.. How brilliant is that?

Also I have been part of a group of young people that organized a yearly festival with international participants, that was amazing.

I really want to learn sign language.
