My name is Annie, I'm 23 years old, gay, have blonde hair, blue eyes and am from the UK.

I recently quit my job (Development Officer for a local charity) and decided to explore some of the world. I have travelled parts of South East Asia, India and am now in the USA hitting up the West Coast!

I love travelling, exploring new places and starting new adventures! I love diving, skiing, reading, hiking, cooking and chilling out with mates...oh and beer!

I am going to the US for a month and because Ive been travelling around for a while im on a fairly tight budget.

I have never couch surfed before but figured it would be the best way to meet people, see sights and find new adventures! For me the best part of travelling is the people you meet, so it would be awesome to meet some locals and see the best parts of the places I visit.

I love all sorts of films (nothing scary though) from Snatch to Dirty Dancing.

I love tv shows like GOT and Orange is the new black.

My favourite author is Paulo Coehlo and my new favourite travel book is Wild by Cherly Strayed
