I'm shy and quiet, but always ready for new adventures. I've just moved to Maryland, so I don't know a lot, but I'm willing to explore!

Interests

I enjoy traveling and learning written languages (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, etc.). I grew up on a farm and love animals, although I currently only have my two cats. I knit, play piano, and I'm trying to learn yoga. I love to cook - but the outcome is hit or miss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Malawi, Africa for a year before med school - I worked in a pediatric HIV clinic. I also taught English in China for 6 weeks during undergrad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have spent a lot of time in other countries (Africa, China, Central America) and can teach skills for good travel. I also know quite a lot about medicine (8 years of school - there is little room for anything else in my exhausted brain).
