About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding good excuses to come visit a city I've never been before / coming back again. Usually it's because of one of my art project.
ABOUT ME
My real name is Anne-Laure but everybody call me Annie (the nickname come from a cute old woman I met in my first travel who didn't get my name). I am recently graduated for Art school in Amsterdam (Rietveld Academie) and I've decided to settle there. I haven't travel much during these great but intense studies and I miss being lost in new landscapes and faces.
PHILOSOPHY
the smallest details make the most beautiful things
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i started couchsurfing in 2010, i travel through Spain alone and then joined my friend Lisa to crossed the US by bus in 3 months for our diploma projet.
I met a lot of great and welcoming people, saw the most strange, ordinaire, scary, beautiful and amazing things during these trips. To surf couches was definitely a big part of why I loved it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have this weird thing, I listen to very little amount of songs for years (maybe 20 or 30), it's very eclectic and I almost always forget the names of singers and bands, but never the song.
I love short novels a bit fantastic and absurd, murakami, greek mythology stories, Albert Camus' books etc
For movies it's a little bit like music except I usually only watch them ones. I don't like block busters so much, that's pretty much how open/closed I am about movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did zip fremon street Las Vegas, I was in New York during a big snow storm, I drank 4locos just before it was forbidden, I made a 5 hours bike tour, and I slept next to my snoring soul mate under the nice summer rain of holland in a way too tiny hammock but we felt all alone on an dutch island.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bring you to see exhibitions, I can cook (I am french but of course it all depends on your expectations), I can talk for hours about photography and art in general, and I am a very good public for conversations and (bad) jokes.
