ABOUT ME

At the moment I am enjoying travelling through Mexico and Central America. This is an amazing part of the world with so much history, both amazing and sad. I am slowly learning Spanish which is a beautiful language. There are so many things I want to do and learn while I´m hear and one year is just not long enough. I´m interested in politics, especially the politics of Indigenous people all over the world.
I love: ¡cooking and eating tasty food!, playing in gardens, learning about herbs, drinking good tea and (Just/fair) coffee, having conversations that are real, meeting new people, sharing stories, escaping into fantasy land through movies or books, trying to make time to meditate...

PHILOSOPHY

I think the most important ways of living are
- searching for truth
- challenging the systems/perspectives that oppress people
- challenging your own patterns and monkey mind (attachments, addictions etc)
- knowing that your life is not just about you

I have seen some magical places especially in Mexico and Guatemnala, and also in Australia. I would love to see even more!

I suppose I might know some things, but mostly I like to share life/experiences with others just by hanging out together. I know a little bit about herbs, oils, making some things, cooking (especially Dhal- Yum!), hmm maybe other things too but we should just talk about them over tea!
