关于我

I am a mother of five grown up children- my youngest son has just left home to do some travelling and so I am inspired to offer couch surfing whilst he is out there, Couch Surfing, HepX- ing (currently in Portugal) I enjoy meeting different people- I have been to many camps and festivals over my adult life and love to live semi-communally. I have always kept open house for friends and family. I work freelance as a part time researcher into health and lifestyle. I also paint (landscape and narrative) and my home often doubles up as my studio. I love to cook- mostly simple, mainly vegetarian food. I am passionate about perpetuating the human values of trust and respect and conversation, in this current era where one can so easily disengage from the moment by interacting with a screen instead of a present "other". my interests include music, folklore, ancient civilizations, astrology, breaking free of social conditionings, awareness and peace. I am a member of a local natural voice choir and love singing. (soprano) I belong to a film society and enjoy art house films. the list goes on. you will be welcomed into my home and offered wholesome food and facilities to bath or shower. If theres time you can wash some stuff and get it dried.I look forward to meeting you.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I go to a 12 day dance festival (Dance Camp Wales) every summer. for many years there was an event that involved people walking a huge labyrinth made of fire- it was created using sawdust soaked in petrol or parafin and although it was very exciting it produced a lot of toxic fumes and also left a big burn ring on the land, destroying plants and small insects in its wake. 4 years ago I persuaded the camp organisers to allow me to conduct a different labyrinth event using small paper bags and tea lights - the result is a very beautiful communal ceremony held on the last night of the camp, resulting in a spiral of gently glowing lights where people slowly walk in and out and sing together.
