Hello! My name is Annie. You can come visit me, maybe, in Montreal. This is a city of beautiful impracticalities and strange people, and there is either many exciting things to do or nothing at all which is its own kind of perfect.

I love the water. Also talking about music and things like that. Discussing the weather. Learning stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to always be acutely aware of the space in life I occupy, being aware of the impact I have on other people, and always being open to learning. I have lots to learn from others, and many ways to de-center myself. I am just a tiny fish in a big pond.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So positive! I've couchsurfed a bunch of times, and am eternally grateful to this service. It's made a number of trips possible, and having guests really makes my weeks more interesting. I've also couchsurfed informally while travelling, sleeping on the floor of new friend's places. I love the feeling of living out of a back-pack so this is all very good for me.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Um, the first thing that comes to mind is climbing mountains in the Adirondack. Very beautiful, very profound. I would like to do more of this.

Spending time on a farm in Brazil. Learned a lot there and drank some very good coffee. Met a few mangy mutts who were great adventure companions.
