About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the fullest!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Indiana, went to college at Notre Dame. I majored in anthropology and Spanish. Traveled a bit during school, some more after. My favorite places are probably the Galapagos Islands and Amsterdam, though I've found it really depends on who you're with and not just where you are. I worked as a Spanish teacher in Boston for one year, then volunteered as a medical brigade leader in Ecuador for 6 months (where I learned I wanted to pursue medicine as a career). I moved back home to finish pre-med requirements. Just took the MCAT this April...planning on entering med school in Aug. 2007. I currently work as a Spanish interpreter at a hospital. I love my job, my friends, my family. I'm a generally happy person, especially when traveling! :-)
PHILOSOPHY
I am grateful for what I have been given, and I try to live my life in a way that benefits others (at least to a certain degree...I'm no saint) I also think that while you shouldn't try everything at least once, you should travel everywhere at least once, if given the opportunity. I usually never turn down a new destination. Who knows what you might learn???

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never used this website, as I usually meet people in random places who invite me to stay with them, and being the crazy travelgal I am, I usually take them up on it. I've stayed with friends in Ecuador, London, Spain, California, Las Vegas, New York...it's always a good time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I work in Labor and Delivery at the hospital, and while I've seen it hundreds of times, I still think it's magical to see a birth.
Macchupicchu early in the morning was amazing. And my whole trip to the Galapagos Islands...swimming with sting rays and sea lions and penguins...a dream come true.
