I love discovering new places and cultures but recently haven't had that many opportunities to travel. Luckily that's about to change :) I currently live in Rauma which is a picturesque little town by the sea in western Finland. The old wooden city of Rauma is also one of the Unesco world heritage sites.

In my freetime I like to go outdoors with my dog, meet friends, go to places etc. I like good coffee, slow mornings, nature, travelling, vegetarian food, good conversations and brunches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I found couchsurfing was in 2012 when I was an exchange student in France. That time I got to visit hosts in France, Italy and Croatia. When I travel I want to see and get to know to the local way of life rather than see only the artificial tourist stuff. And couchsurfing is perfect for that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked through a midsummer night in a national park. In Finland there's a midnight sun in midsummer when the sun doesn't set at all.
