About Me

I really like when people call me Anni.
I am currently studying "Intercultural Business Psychology" in my first Master semester in Germany.

During the Corona times, I started to study Spanish and I fell in love with the language, the culture, the dances, and the music. Apparently, I might look like the typical german girl (rubia/gringa) but I think my heart is Spanish.

I would consider myself as an open-minded person, who loves to meet new people and cultures. I might end up talking for hours about diverse topics. Always accompanied by a sense of humor and a burst of laughter. Even though I do like to talk a lot, I can also be reflective and quiet at times. My goal is to enjoy my life to the fullest and don't regret not doing something when I'm older.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers an intercultural exchange. For me, it is the best way to get to know new people in real-life situations. I prefer to meet natives and have good conversations over just laying at the beach. Don't get me wrong: I do love beautiful beaches. But what really stuck with me and shaped my personality was the people I've met during my travels. I love to share something about my culture and my experiences while also learning something about another culture and a person's background. This is truly what I consider my happiness in life!

And why am I here?
Since my semester will be held online and I have the possibility to work from anywhere, why should I not take advantage of this flexibility? Place myself in another country while continuing my normal student and work life. The only thing that needs to be given is a fast and stable internet connection. I feel the urge to challenge myself and search for something new. This is what I am deeply missing at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Spanish music accompanies me all day every day. I love Reggaeton, Salsa, and Bachata music.

I do like all the psychological thriller written by the author "Sebastian Fitzek" because he addresses socially critical topics in his books.
