I'm a curious, serious and hilarious student of social sciences, I come from South-Finland but I'm currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden. I love good food experiences, warm-hearted people, the feeling when you succesfully use a new language, small animals with an ego of a lion, laughing to my own jokes, books, films, dancing, just living a normal life with some new twists time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of all I think it's necessary to meet new people from different countries and backgrounds so I won't end up living in one truth. It's also fun and I'm always curious to see what are the similarities and surprises in different countries. I think hopping to someone's couch is one of the best ways to study what is going on in the world, how people live their lives and what are the things that drive us.

Interests

I would love to try to film a short movie or create a top hit comedy, so tell me if you're doing one and I'll sign up:) Otherwise I'm interested in politics, gender studies and art, everything that urges us to face our thoughts and prejustices. I'm always up for a party and dancing too!

I like to swim, weather it is an icy lake or a sunny sea. And a one very simple delight is to go to caffees and taste local delicates, especially if they contain coconut. Coconut is no doubt one of the greatest things in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen artists like Laleh, n* grandjean, The Avener, Nephew, Bastille, Stromae etc. Movies... I love almost everything from Hitchcock, Mike Leigh, Joe Wright, Hayao Miyazaki but there are so much mind blowing movies that I can't name or haven't seen yet... One of the best books I've read are The Bookthief, The God of Small Things, Little Bee, The Old Man and the Sea, Life of Pi, The Road, Harry Potters, The Lord of the Rings and Northern Lights.
