我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

"To meet fun people, have a great time and save money", this if what couchsurfers usually write here. And yes, I also want to make new friends and enjoy myself, but to be honest I could also do this in a hostel.

So why use couchsurfing?
Because I want to find out what home means to you. I want to understand why you live in the place you live in and see it from the perspective of a local. Where is your favourite café? What are your neighbours like? What is your favourite hidden place? Your favourite graffiti or favourite tree? A local dish that reminds you of your childhood? What do you love about your city? How does your shower work (seriously, why are there so many different types of showers in the world)?

And if you don't have the time to show me all of this, I am happy with a couch, a shared cup of tea and a new friend.

I enjoy learning new things, weightlifting, scientific research, looking at modern art, reading, going on random walks, dancing, making and eating bread, life drawing classes, beer and languages.
