Discover the world along with kiteboarding, sailing, snowboarding, climbing, learning more about these sports and hopefully new sports, learning about cultures, languages, getting to know fellow travelers, locals and learning from them about new lifestyles.

ABOUT ME

After completing my Bachelor's studies in Finland this spring and enjoying the beautiful summer over there working at the airport and practicing a lot of kiteboarding and sailing I decided it's a great time to start really exploring the world. It was obvious because I had already twice lived in the Austrian Alps for two ski seasons and before these experiences I studied for one year in Florida as well.

First I thought about going to Australia, New Zealand or back to the Austrian Alps after graduation. However things don't always go as planned and during my last stay in the Alps I met a person whom I'm unexpectedly now happy to call my boyfriend. He had a job at this tiny island called Saint Barthelemy about which I hadn't ever heard before so I thought why not. Now we have settled here for a period of time which is not determined and I have to say I'm joyful that I changed my plans from the original one.

When I travel there are two important things to me besides the normal stuff like being safe. First one is to stay for a long time at one destination so I can really get to know the culture and hopefully at least a little bit of the language as well. Second one is to be able to do the sports I love: kiteboarding, sailing, snowboarding and climbing.

I'm happy to meet locals as well as travelers currently in Saint Barthelemy!
