ABOUT ME

I have spent my life dreaming.

I grew up in rural Maine, and dreamed up wild adventures for myself among the trees.
I went to college and dreamed up movies; writing, filming, and editing them.
I got a movie marking job in Hollywood and work professionally to make dreams, reality.
Now, since I've always dreamt of traveling the world, I think it's time to do that too.

I particularly adore backpacking and think there is something extremely satisfying about summiting a mountain and realizing you made it there entirely on your own two feet. Nature is amazing, and there are few things that make me as happy.

I love listening to peoples stories and their dreams. I think history and culture are super important in understanding why people are who they are.

I love to cook. I have been told I am pretty good at it too. I personally think I have a exceptional talent for the recipes that have lots of bacon, sugar and butter, but hey I'm a bit bias.

As I said before, seeing the world is something I've always dreamt of doing, and since I've never been one to shy away from my dreams, I'm taking the plunge and setting out on an adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I probably say "Onwards and Upwards" a million times a week. It's my own way of embracing what can't be changed and moving forward towards the best solution possible. I believe, whether for good or bad, if something happens we only have one choice- to move forward or rather "onwards and upwards."

Interests

Backpacking/hiking. Food, books, Movies and Tv, exploring. Getting to know loved ones better, finding new ways to be content. I played Jazz trumpet for a long time and although I haven't played in ages, I still love listening to jazz. Really most music will make me smile.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my personal favorites are Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, and Dr.Who. ( I swear I'm not as big of a nerd as that makes me sound.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at Philmont Scout Camp in Northern New Mexico for a summer. The camp hosted over 35,000 campers in those 3 months. I got to preform at campfires, teach kids, and hike in the beautiful Southern Rockies. It was the best summer of my life and I would recommend it to everyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I know some amazing places to backpack around California, and I have a bunch or recipes I'm alway happy to share. Especially if we get to feast on a home cooked meal after! I know a lot about movie trailer making, so I could share a bunch about that if your interested.

I would love to learn about other cultures. If you have stories from your life, or your families lives I would like nothing more then to hear about them.
