I'm a Southern California girl with a thirst for adventure. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe in opening my doors to the weary traveler with an air mattress and a home cooked meal (or at least Uber Eats!). I have been inspired by my life of travel and so I design dream catchers! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first joined Couchsurfing when I moved to Asia in 2010. It was an incredible tool for me to meet new people and travel safely when visiting other countries. Our monthly Vegetarian Pot Lucks in Da'an Park in Taipei were such a great way to meet FOB foreigners!

Now that I'm back in California, my boyfriend and I are interested in opening our apartment up for friendly, respectful travelers-- the kind you meet through Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

So many books... I majored in English Lit, I love to read. I always have a book. I stay away from pop lit, but I really enjoy reading non-fiction biopics on historical women, travel epics, motivational or life strategy books, and books that guide you to being a better human being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran 1/2 Marathon in the snow, rain and sleet at the Grand Canyon...
Ran a 5k across the sand dunes of the Peruvian Ica Desert...
Ran another 5k through the mountains of the Inca Trail...
Rowed on an all woman's team in the Taipei City Championship Dragon Boat Race... and WON...
Raced up the stairs at Taipei 101...
