I work at a grocery store with the most amazing colleagues and customers, to be honest, I love my job. I study English at uni (although it seems this isn't going to last very long anymore, new horizon are expecting me). My free time I spend at my local amateur theatre, enjoying my time on stage with the wackiest people I know and love, or at home, on the sofa, wathing TV or one of my many DVD's. I love autumn for the weather, winter for its beauty, spring for its scents and summer for the light. To travel is my life goal, to see, to experince and to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, however the budget of a student (although with a steady job) is not huge. I'm interested in the concept of couch surfing, it would be great not only to travel to another country, but to get to know a person from that country, see how they live, get some inside tips perhaps and hopefully make loads of friends abroad!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: movie & musical sound tracks (hot right now: Rent, Harry Potter, Inception), Finnish ladies (PMMP, Jenni Vartiainen, Chisu), Linkin Park.
Movies: too many to mention (I have over 200 DVD's in my collection)... Hayao Miyazaki and Quentin Tarantino never cease to amaze me. Benedict Cumberbatch is my latest (and so far the hugest) Hollywood-crush.
Books: I find children's literature sooo interesting (I wrote my BA thesis on the subject), "Goodnight Mister Tom", David Almonds novels and "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time" are some of my favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled to South Africa (first trip alone AND outside Europe) to volunteer at a wild cat farm to take care of some of the most amazing creatures in the animal kingdom. So many paw prints in my heart!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A calm, reasonable (although capable of much sillyness :D), responsible and alcohol-free girl, who loves to travel and see new cultures and especially people from different cultures.
