About Me

*** Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and having to deal with old people and babies that are part of the family, I can't share my home with surfers at the moments. I can still hang out, thought :) please get in touch if you are in Milan! ***

CURRENT MISSION
Improve myself, love the people, discover the planet

ABOUT ME
Since mid-2019 I am working in the Operations department for a large event organizer, focused on exhibitions happening in Italy. So my life changed a bit, and I'm travelling less :) I am memberof the Sustainable Event Alliance and improving my skills as an event sustainability consultant. My dreams of getting back good, ethical topics into my work is becaming a reality, even if I have still a long way to go :)

From 2013 to 2019 I was a project manager for stand building and fair/events management, in Milan and abroad - I've travelled often worldwide, to more that 30 destinations, finding CS new friends in every place, to my delight :)
Before 2013, I studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano and was a researcher about environmental and social sustainability of products and services.
I worked for the UFPR University in Curitiba so I have a special relationship with Brazil, I speak Portuguese and feel a big passion for that country and people that lives there.

I live with my boyfriend Marco and two nice cats, Giano and Nea.
I am a down to earth person. But I'm not that serious :)

PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem :)
"When I create with my heart, almost everything works" Marc Chagall

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can give you handy infos about Milan, what to see here and how to move around. If I have time, I'd be happy to show you the city. If you show real interest in meeting and you are active in the CS community, I may even host you :) Read carefully "My Home" section of my profile before making a Couchrequest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CS is just amazing, one of the best things that I took part in in my life.
My first CS contacts were in Brazil, a country that still offers one of the best CS community and experience :) Because of the people I've met there I fell in love with this website and my life changed forever.
I've made a lot of the common mistakes newbie CSrs do, so I try to be understanding and tell about the "real soul" of CS to the new ones, still I am one person that get pissed of with standard private messages :D

Interests

Travelling, and while I travel to taste and try everything (food, art, nature, music...).
I love walking, running and fitness (flexibility, yoga, aerobics, step, fitboxe, zumba...).
I play in rock bands, and I totally love go to concerts and dancing!
Basically I love doing new things. As long as there are new experiences and new people to meet, I am happy :)

Music is my fuel: new and old rock, funk, blues, jazz, indie, electronic, brasilian MPB and samba... I could go on forever. A guitar and a fire on the beach are the base of happines :)
I like a lot to read, especially adventure, history and fantasy books.
