ABOUT ME

Primate ecologist by training, Ive stepped away from academia to emulate my subject more directly. Ive been climbing for about 17 years now and use the skills to rig for circus aerial performers (Trapeze etc). Im also a musician, with an album and several EPs to my name. Traveled widely, but there's so much more to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never used a couchsurfing community site before last year, but had wonderful encounters on the road with some of the most hospitable people imaginable, from park employees in Yosemite to impoverished goatherders in Jordan. My home in Edinburgh also serves as a 'couch' for many travelling performers etc that come to Edinburgh.
