Hey!! I'm Anouk, I'm 23 years old and I live in Grenoble (France).
I used to work full time in a place that's both a climbing gym and a restaurant, but I put an end to it back in May.
I've already traveled a lot around Europe since I'm both French and Austrian and have half my family living in Austria 🌞
Right now, (4-15 July 2025) I'm traveling through Italy with my best friend Lou, as we're willing to connect Innsbruck to my hometown in France only by hitchhiking 👍 You can see pictures of her on my profile!!
We're hoping to find kind hosts on our way and are very excited to meet you! We don't take much space, only have our hiking backpacks and big smiles on our face (and also a tent, so just sleeping in your garden is also a wonderful solution for us if the weather allows it) 🏕️

P.s.: we're both vegetarians, no meat no fish no cheese is our way to go ☺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm extremely curious about everything. I love to hear people talk about their passions! And in general, I'm addicted to meeting new people and discovering about their culture and own experiences. So Couchsurfing is the best way to meet all these people, to give them the opportunity to have somewhere to sleep for a night or two when I'm back home and to have a bed for the night when I travel myself !

Interests

I'm a climbing addict 🫣 this sport really makes me feel good, so does sport in general. I'm in love with the mountains (especially the Austrian and French alps where I grew up and live now), and going for a 30km hike makes me the happiest ever !

I'm also really close to nature and seeing it suffer like that breaks my heart so I try my best to live as sustainably as I can, and would love to share this lifestyle with you!

Other than that, I can't live without music! I play the piano and you'll always see me walking around with my headphones around my neck. That's something really important to me and I'm always open to sharing my playlists and discovering new music!
