I've got spare room in my life and making more in a number of ways. I am involved in some grassroot organisations, making changes in communities, as well as some other stuff that pays the bills. I'm interested in people and meeting new people from around the world and sharing the experience with my amazing family, whom themselves are breaking out into the world... I am a dedicated father of three wonderful human beings aged 17, 19 and 20. We (mostly) enjoy the company of other people, water, beach, good food, family and an active lifestyle.

The youngsters are interested in and are learning French, Korean, Spanish and Japanese, so if you speak these languages that would be a bonus.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have some friends and family who speak highly of their couch surfing experiences. I looked at WWOF-ing years ago before there was an internet (SOME of you will know what I mean) but never followed through as I was tired down with the other things and responsibilities. I also intend to do some traveling again in the future, so thought I might reach out now.

I have always enjoyed cooking, but lately with having quests from all over the world in the house...its been a lot of fun with some fine food! You will be exspected to cook during your stay with us.

Currently focusing on the next amazing thing..(that was Nov 2016) new endeavors now. My first Blue water sailing experience! Crewed on a sailing boat NZ to Fiji. 19 days at sea!
