About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to reinvent myself constantly

ABOUT ME

I am constantly looking for ways to connect with nature, people, and my innermost feelings. I strive to maintain that connection alive at all times. Singing is one of the most important ways for me to achieve this; without it, I soon wither and become miserable. That, in essence, is the real me. Now for my quirks... I chew my nails and complain about traffic. I am a certified procastinator half the time, and a devoted worker the other half. I love change, although certain routines, like drinking a good cup of coffee in the morning, will never bore me. I am am the eldest of a large family. Je suis québécoise, née dans l'ouest du Canada... comme dit la chanson, je suis de prairie et de forêt, je suis de blé et de lacs, d'hiver et d'automne!

PHILOSOPHY

Not every wanderer is lost...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my favorite modes of transportation is without doubt hitchhiking; great way to meet people and enrich a travelling experience... a few years ago, my friend and I were picked by a woman on the south coast of Gaspésie, and since it was getting late and we had no place to camp, she invited us to stay the night over at her ocean-side house. We ate fresh seafood, drank good wine, enjoyed soft and clean beds, and spent the next day on the beach looking for seashells... it was most certainly one of my best couchsurfing experiences!

Interests

I have become a sports enthusiast in the past years, after spending my entire teenage years with my face in a book and my bum on a couch. I love running, biking, swimming, telemarking, hiking, yoga, camping and absolutely want to learn kayaking this year!!!
And I believe there is nothing better than watching a sunset, or hearing the sound of waves crashing on the beach, or the smell of a forest after a heavy rain.
If I could live 365 days in the outdoors, I would... but I also enjoy the company of people, and good music, art and wine...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burningman Festival was quite the ticket. I sang on a fish-shaped boat with pink neon paint all over my body.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to love winter (yup!), cross-country ski, sing, play the piano and make blueberry pie.
I really want to perfect my telemarking skills, learn more about world politics, and kayaking! and who knows what else!
