About Me
I'm a clean, considerate, easy going and tidy person. I value the insights and tips from the host of the stay. I would say i'm a friendly person to be around, approachable, considerate / follows the house rules and am down to earth. Happy to help around the accommodation, enjoy an authentic local experience and to meet new people in the city I'm travelling in.
I'm a non smoker (I have asthma)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm 1 year into Couchsurfing (references are on my profile) and its been a fantastic experience, have also previously enjoyed more home stay arrangements/airbnb in Asia and Europe.
I'm quite a thrifty, no fuss and simple person - so the ethos of couchsurfing and how its making travel equitable really resonates. Usually when I travel I book more budget/home share/airbnb options, as instead of spending money on more fancy accomodation, I can instead spend that money on experiences and the time being out and about to explore.
I also like hearing peoples personal journeys, recommendations and personal favourite locations in the relevant city - so this aligns with couchsurfing too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Venice and stayed in an airbnb right on the canal. Also had an extraordinary experience of staying in Positano on the Amalfi Coast, waking up to water views. I also went to Angkor wat in Cambodia and travelled the various islands in Thailand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty organised and active person, so happy to share with others (esp hosts) my travel plans - and also seek their insights and hidden/local places they may find interesting for me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Common likes we may have. Recommendations of places to visit in Melbourne and wider Victoria. Happy to buy the couchsurfing host a dinner/lunch - or cook a meal too during my stay in your place too, using supermarket goods, as a thanks for the stay.
