Hey there! I’m Anthony, a warm and curious soul from Guyana with a deep love for people, cultures, and meaningful connections. Whether I’m in the skies working in aviation or on the ground exploring new places, I’m always seeking out stories, laughter, and authentic experiences that remind me of how wonderfully diverse and interconnected our world is.

I have a background in customer service and four years of experience in the aviation industry, so hospitality and communication come naturally to me. I’m also a creative at heart — a passionate performer and artist (I go by Thoni when I sing!), and I’ve had the honor of performing at community events in New York, including tributes to COVID-19 victims and Caribbean cultural celebrations.

Beyond music and travel, I’m deeply involved in volunteer work, youth empowerment, and community engagement — and have been recognized for it by the New York State Senate and NYC Council. I love deep conversations, spontaneous adventures, shared meals, and discovering the little things that make each place (and person) unique.

Music is my heartbeat — literally! As a performer (aka Thoni), I live and breathe melodies. I vibe with a wide range of genres — from soulful R&B and conscious reggae to Afrobeats, lo-fi, and acoustic singer-songwriter vibes. Some of my favorites include artists like Chronixx, HER, Lucky Daye, and Labrinth. I also love discovering underground or global artists — music truly connects the world.

🎬 Movies:
I’m a fan of films that make you feel — whether it’s deep, funny, or a little mind-bending. I love a good drama, psychological thriller, or thought-provoking indie film. Movies like The Pursuit of Happyness, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and Queen of Katwe always stick with me. Also, I’m always up for a nostalgic Disney or animated movie night!

📚 Books:
I enjoy books that feed the mind and soul — whether it’s a gripping memoir, an inspiring self-help read, or a global politics or international relations piece. Some titles that have stayed with me: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Becoming by Michelle Obama, and Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. I’m also exploring African and Caribbean literature more — stories that reflect where I come from and where I’m going.

I had the honor of performing as a singer at the “Candles & Roses” memorial ceremony in New York City to pay tribute to the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a deeply emotional and humbling experience — standing in front of a community united in grief, resilience, and hope. Being able to use my voice to comfort others and bring a sense of healing through music was one of the most powerful and unforgettable moments of my life.

I’d love to share what I know about Caribbean culture — especially Guyanese traditions, food, and music! I can also teach you a bit about singing, vocal techniques, or how to freestyle with confidence (stage or shower — your choice!). If you’re interested in aviation or travel tips, I’ve got stories and insights from working in the airline industry too.

📚 Learn:
I’m always excited to learn something new — especially languages, cooking styles from around the world, or skills that help me grow creatively and spiritually. I’m curious about other people’s cultures, life philosophies, and lived experiences. Every person I meet is a teacher in some way.
