Overview
About Me
I have always seen myself as a citizen of the world and have been very interested in understanding the world's histories, cultures, philosophies, languages, and literatures, etc! I therefore like to travel and am trying to develop more experience and know how with this as I grow and mature. I'm also a people person, HSP, empath, and ENFP which means I care most of all about close and intimate connections between others and the world around me~
As for some other things, I am not someone who likes parties, hook ups, clubbing, and many other things stereotypically associated with people of my age. I don't drink because alcoholism runs in my family, so don't worry about dealing with a drunk version of me or in general being so inconvenienced. But, with all this being said, I am perfectly okay with other people doing any of these things and strongly support peoples' right to be able to do these things especially if they consider how their choices may affect other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was interested in Couchsurfing because the idea of sharing resources to help others who need them is important to me. Just as I want to help others without thinking only about how I may benefit, I look to others who are generous and kind to help me as I navigate the world. I would be very appreciative and do my best to reciprocate as much as I am able (especially in my future when I may be able to offer more than I can now as a student).
But, now I also find Couchsurfing meaningful for the connections one can make with other people and by extension wherever they are from, their culture, etc. Not only can I share my experiences and ideas but I can also learn about other people and where they are coming from both literally and figuratively. Throughout the process one can grow and develop much more than if one just stays at home imagining being in other places and meeting new people.
Interests
I have too many interests for one person >.<
But, I will try to describe them a bit more: I really enjoy thinking more deeply about things and how they are the way they are. The same desire that inspires me to understand about the universe by studying physics (I can teach you about quantum mechanics and other fascinating things as I have studied it in university) is the desire that inspires me to manifest my feelings and imaginings into poetry and art! This desire is one of intimacy with things: to really have a deep connection with things and people is what gives my life its most beautiful meaning. That is why I have always loved to learn and be sensitive to all the things in the world for they all can be quite beautiful in a certain way~
For example, if I see a tree, I may be interested in touching the bark and considering it from underneath or from afar and consider it as a biological creature as well as a member of its environment and as a sign of life and nature. To feel the texture and hear the leaves rustle is to me a sensual pleasure where such simple things resonate with my being and love of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have beaten Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts hahahaha
Everything else seems to either pale in comparison (kidding) or just seem to be a part of what makes life wonderful which I would say is so much more of life than we usually consider. Also, it seems too contrived to me to make myself think of things I have done as amazing (usually something will come up in context).
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot of experience helping others improve their English language skills both informally as a friend and also as a teacher, so I love to help people out in this way!
I spend a lot of time learning about ideas and perspectives that many would consider academic but I consider just to be a part of the world of ideas.
I would love to share whatever I know as well as my good will and love!
What I Can Share with Hosts
