Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

In my job I was an astrophysicist, studying Saturn's moon Titan. It is a beautiful place with rain, rivers, lakes, and seas (made of gasoline!). I left this job earlier this year, and have been walking and traveling since.

I'm interested in meditation and monastic life. I've stayed in monasteries in the US, and plan to visit some in Europe. They can be places where people gather together to face head-on questions about this intense and mysterious life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to walk long distances. Before coming to Italy I walked about 1000km on a trail in the US. In Italy, I walked to a monastery in Assisi on the Via di Francesco.
