Overview
About Me
My name is Tony, 28, born and raised in the USA and I love learning new things! I play guitar, love speaking foreign languages and I'm very personable. I love having great conversations and I am very outgoing. I come from a big family and we are all very close. I've lived in China and now teach Chinese to students age 10-15. I play a lot of gigs, love writing music and sitting around drinking a beer while meeting new people.
My apartment is very clean as I'm not too fond of messes and when I travel, I leave things the way I found them. I have a lot of great aspirations to travel and I love meeting people who live in places that I am new to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because nothing sucks more than being a tourist without a local to show you how life is where they're living. When I travel around, I don't want to see the big sights, I want to experience what it's like to be a local and do what they do. I want to meet people with these experiences so I can learn them firsthand from them instead of looking online at what I "should" do when I get to a destination.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classic rock, some indie, blues, soul, rock n' roll, prog rock, some pop. I like nonfiction books as well as mystery. Movies vary but comedy and action are up there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in China for a year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching as I learn by doing it, I love learning so that I may teach from it's experiences and I love sharing both with any and all who will do the same with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, give you some good stories, play you a living room concert, introduce you to some language basics, listen, have a great discussion and hopefully leave as a friend.
