Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, a few years ago I uncovered a passion for traveling to foreign places. Last year, I was unexpectedly traversing Colombia solo, something years ago I wouldn't have dared, only to find out how liberating and insightful this can be. While traveling with people always beats solo travel (imo), I'm now a convert to the solo thing too. I'm on couchsurfing as a way to merge the two. To meet and have fun with locals, make new friends and get a closer look into different cultures.
