About Me
**I'm very new to couch surfing (I mean..hours) - while I acquire some references, please feel free to verify me through messaging me for social media extensions etc. Thanks!**
Hi! I'm Anthony, and I'm a 22 year old musician. I'm currently finishing my studies at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where I study Voice and Music Eduction. I'm very interested in choral music, and early music (really, really old stuff I've never heard of gets me going). I consider myself to be a very clean and organized person, but I'm also highly spontaneous and adventure seeking. I love to go on random explorations, hikes, and trips. I'm also a decent amateur cook, and photographer. Hope to meet you soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hate going to places being "a tourist". Nothing bugs me more than camera straps, fanny packs, and the like. I love getting to know a place not only for its iconic landmarks, but also for its authentic, local niches. I'd really love for someone to show me this side of their city or town!
Also, I love taking solo trips (it makes traveling logistics easier when you're as spontaneous as me), but I would love to meet some great company.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Too long a list; Early Music (1100-1799: Hildegard, Buxtehude, Rameu, Cavalli, Victoria, Palestrina, Purcell, Monteverdi, Campra, Lully, Bach, Händel etc.) Avant-garde (Stockhausen-esque) , Postmodern (Adams, Reich etc.). 20th-21st Century Choral (Gjeilo, Whitacre, Esenvalds etc.) other weirdness. My musical "alter ego" consists of Jazz (Esbjorn Trio, Brubeck) , Musical Theatre (Soundheim, Hammerstein), Classic Rock (Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, America etc.) , and some indie rock (Gregory Alan Isakov-type).
Movies: The Godfather, Bronxtale, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Brooklyn (anything that is beautifully filmed, and effective)
TV: Downton Abbey, Mr. Robot, Veep, Seinfeld.
Books: Robinson Crusoe, The Diary of Anne Frank, Anthem, Harry Potter series (sorry, grew up on those) and so many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've performed with some pretty stellar ensembles: NY Phil, Vienna Phil, Philadelphia Orchestra, Berlin Phil.
