In 2008, my friend told me about this website and I assumed it was creepy. It’s now July of 2019, I’ve since changed my mind.

I’ve had many travels, often with a girlfriend or friend, but I usually feel like I’m missing out on meeting locals, having authentic conversations, and experiencing the best a city has to offer.

So I’m here, giving this a try. My goal is to meet all sorts of people and add more depth to my already amazing travel ventures.

Here is some basic information about myself in case we connect or to choose not to:

1. I love to cook and am pretty good at a wide variety of dishes.
2. I enjoy all beverages, but vodka/tea (or soda) is usually my drink of choice.
3. I don’t do any drugs.
4. I love all animals.
5. I generally accept everyone’s political beliefs, but I am anti-Trump for the divisiveness he creates.
6. Romantic comedies are my favorite movie genre
7. In conversations, l prefer to listen rather than talk unless appropriate

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling, but rarely get to interact with locals. I also look forward to meeting fellow travelers visiting my area.

I like a wide variety from old school rap, to 90s alternative, pop music that is often ‘girly’, but my favorite artist of all, is George Michael.

Favorite movies are The Count of Monte Cristo, Swingers, Crazy Stupid Love, My Best Friends Girl, Interstellar, and Inception

Favorite books are usually the business type stuff, things from Simon Synek and Charles Duhigg

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve gotten to ride in the cockpit it numerous types of aircraft. Such examples include a Boeing 737, MD-80, Airbus, as well as Cessna, Cherokees, Marchetti, helicopters and even a blimp.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play darts or about the stock market. I can also teach about aviation or airplanes.

I would like to learn to snowboard or play the guitar.

I enjoy learning about other people and sharing things about myself. I believe we can all teach and all learn from each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would enjoy cooking a fabulous meal together, or if you have a doggie, I would be happy to walk him/her, or even as simple as just grabbing a few drinks together.
