Overview
About Me
I'm a guy who loves to meet new people and have new experiences. I'm kind of a drifter in life -- I almost never fight against the wave, and just go with whatever life throws in my direction.
Although the mainstream media has nothing but negative things to display, I tend to believe the world is a beautiful place with nice people...you just have to find them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I like to meet new people. I'd like to add a great social experience to my travels, as well as giving a great social experience to people who are also traveling.
Interests
I love chess, learning new things, meeting new people, and just having and overall good time with people -- laughing, drinking beer, and eating good food.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, but two of the greatest songs of all time is "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve and "Only One" by Yellowcard. Every other song that has ever been written must submit to these two pieces of art.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done? I once saved a man's life.
I used to live in Lake Tahoe, NV where bars are open 24/7. I was at a bar grabbing a drink after work, and when I left the sun had already set. In Lake Tahoe, once the sun goes down, it is pitch black. While I'm walking a mile home (barely able to see my hand in front of my face), I hear a man cry for help. I spent about 5 minutes trying to locate where the voice was. He had broken his ankle and fell into a snowbank; if he had stayed there a little longer, he would've froze to death.
So I helped the man up and carried him for about 3 blocks before flagging a car down asking them to please drop us off to the man's home. We finally got him home and his wife was very thankful that we helped her husband get home safely.
A week later, I found out that the guy and the driver worked in the same hotel I worked. We laughed about the whole ordeal for the next few months.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to teach people how to be more loving, easy-going, and compassionate.
I'd like to learn how to effectively meditate.
And I'd like to share my experiences with people as a struggling entrepreneur so they may be inspired.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to share with hosts my un-orthodox, exciting, fun lifestyle. I've had a great life and I am in no way losing steam. Life is full of experiences and learning opportunities, and I'd love to take advantage of as many of them as possible.
