I love Asia and Africa. I spent three years in Africa working on economic development projects. I’m interested in travel and culture politics and current events, and learning local languages/dialects.

I love to read and usually have 5 books going at one time. My favorite thing to do is go to the library’s “International” section and pick a book about a random country. I’ve learned a lot about places I never would have thought to read about!

In college after studying abroad, I once spent an entire semester sleeping on my friends’ couch.... I am no stranger to actual couches, that’s for sure! (They made me pay rent😥)
