CURRENT MISSION
searching for that wild mountian goat that resides in all of us
ABOUT ME
God this like feels like I'm writing a personal ad. Out going Australian seeks shelter and laughter. Enjoys long walk, backpacking and sun.
So mainly what I enjoy in life is just observing the world as it is. Thats what I love about traveling, you have to step outside your comfort zone, what your used to and just see how other people interact and live. It's a great way to connect.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything is a mixture of nature and nurture. My beliefs are primary contrived from my surrounding and education. Neither of those are within my full control and as individuals we all have had different experiences which shape our beliefs and opinions. Thus, there is nothing to say that my experiences have lead me any closer to the truth than yours. So my belief is to have absolute tolerance for people around me. Also that the only you can give to another is love. Unconditional love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Holy, well I lived in Montreal for a few years, in one of those uni student hovels where we'd have travelers in week in week out sleeping on the couch or sharing a room. I'd just come off my first round the world trip and had lots of people visiting.
Interests
Sun... oh that lovely sun. I enjoy playing volleyball, squash and tennis. I play Ultimate Frisbee, but I rarely admit that publicly. Besides that, it's travel, food and the geeker side of computers, namely linux.

Music, Movies, and Books
Eternal Sunshine on a Spotless Mind, anything by Jeunet (besides Alien4).
Big fan of the Russian authors from the early 19th centery, so Tolstoy, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Checkov etc
All music, and I really mean all. Right now I'm listening to Jazz, but I've been favoring Rachmaninoff recently, but I love my KRS-One, De La Soul and rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lots of travel through South East Asia, Europe, NZ, Australia, Cuba and Canada. Most amazing experience was when I kayaked from the Yukon (Canada) into Alaska, then hitchhiked around Alaska and then hiked over the Rockies back into Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love to talk about books, movies, philosophies and cultures. My real skill base is Medical Imaging with computers, but I doubt thats going to be of much interest on CouchSurfing.
