About Me

I am Indonesian guy, which is currently studying in Netherlands.

I really love travelling, but I only used to explore my home country and have never gone abroad. Actually, If I may add, I have not satisfied yet to explore it since there are so many beautiful places there.

When I travel, I enjoy almost every single thing I experience, all kind of destinations, meeting people, the journey to reach the destinations, and even some stupid things that occur on it. I mean like, we always learn anything for what we have been through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I have been in Netherlands I do not want to miss this big opportunity in term of traveling around Europe. I knew couchsurfing starting last year and impressed by its system. However, I did not really use it back in my home country. Yeaa...people do not really use it and I did not have any idea how to explore it.

But now, because it is much easier here, I can explore new experiences, meet new people, interact with local people in every places I (will) visit. And for sure, it is much cheaper, isn't it? :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to do hiking in Merapi Mountain ( a mountain in Java Island). I and my friends missed the transportation. We insisted to continue the journey by hitchhiking even though we did not really know about the route. Apparently, it is more than 20kilos, uphill roads, and the day was getting dark (literally dark since no lamps on the roads). Luckily, we had met some people who were willing to pick up us (yes, it needed several times to ask people to carry us). And finally we made it!
