I finished High School last year and have decided to go on a sabbatical year and 6 months trip through parts of Europe and Latin-America (my plans changed a lot due to the pandemic). The idea was to step out of my comfort zone, going into the world, the unknown and to face my fears. I also wanted to enjoy life and discover others and myself.

If I had to explain my character and how I am, while trying to be as honest as possible, I would say that I'm quite "cerebral" in the sense that I like to reflect, understand and discover.

The things I would like to orchestrate my 6 months trip around are: discovering and being with people, surfing, trekking, taking the time to enjoy the present moment and giving up the constant desire for control.

I signed in on Couchsurfing because I am going on a sabbatical year in order to discover, gain independence, encounter new people,... This community/platform is probably one of the best ingredients in order to achieve this.

Traveling in Brazil: Rio, Brazilia, Salvador, surfing in Pipa and last but not least discovering the Amazon, it's nature, richness, toughness and Indigenous people that live in it.

I can learn basics of capoeira, surf, the languages I speak. I would like to share my vision of our world, of the things I saw and lived. I can as well teach bit of Belgian beer-culture ;)
