I'm Antoine, a 30 years old french guy. I studied in Rennes (France) where I pass my engineering diploma in 2010. I've been working since then : first in Rennes, then in Angers. Both in France. I'm married with Claire. I like the small things you do, just for the fun, just for those little moment that makes you feel alive. Change your day to day itinerary to go to work, buy an old bike to repair, do something you usually never do, help people, etc.

I'm Claire, I'm french and almost 30 years old. I studied civil engineering in Rennes (France) where I met Antoine. I'm working in Electricity Distribution as manager of technicians since then. I had the opportunity to travel a lot, study abroad and those experiences and people meetings made me want to discover more.
I'd be really pleased to share with you my culture and excited discover yours.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Claire: We plan to take time for us in 2017 to discover South America, travel and meet people. I'm so happy of this choice. We want to experience new things and couchsurfing is one of them. Most of all we want to appreciate moments with local people, discover their habits, the beat of their cities or places

Antoine: At first, I register because I really trust the philosophy of helping each other. At the day, because we've made a decision with my wife : escape from our stressful jobs for one year to visit south americas and find other ways to travel, to consume, to share with people. Recover time and people. We don't have a plan nor an itinerary, we just want to feel the way every day.
So we just packed a tent, mattress, sleeping bags, some clothes and we'll hit the road! oh yeah!

Antoine:I'm an epicurean guy, i like food, drinks, enjoying the simple moments of a meal, of a discussion, a play-card game.
I like traveling in nature, hiking, trekking, camping.
I like cooking even more and mostly when it's a shared moment.
I like playing basketball and I'm a lindy-hop dancer (swing).
I like "do-it-yourself" stuffs.
I like music (I play guitar and love to try any single instrument)

Claire: I'm a dynamic person, I like to learn and discover new places and people.
I love traveling, being with new cultures and learning languages. I speak english, italian and a bit of spanish and I would enjoy improve my skills and discover other languages.
I love reading
I love walking in my city Angers or in Bretagne. I would like to experience hiking and trekking in nature, horse riding

Antoine: I like every style of music but my preferences are for rock/folk/blues/swing.
I'm not a very passionate reader so I read strip cartoons cause it's easy reading, magazines, travel guides, newspapers. I almost never read books. My wife does it for me.

Claire: I read lots of books. I enjoy spending time in the library.
I like listening Antoine playing guitar. I like pop and swing music

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Antoine et Claire: Quit my job to travel one year!
Buy a car in 3 days in a foreign country, build a bed and live in it while traveling during 3 months.

Antoine: I'm very curious and like to share so I'll be glad to share any of my experiences, cooking recipes, music bands, hiking tricks and tips. I'll be happy to help fixing or building stuffs (yes I like to build and repair everything, from cars to computer passing through houses...), to play music.

Claire: I can share my time helping others, doesn't matter the stuff. I'd like teaching French
