Hello everyone, my name is Anton and this summer I am going to Italy with my girlfriend Anna. We are an enthusiastic and open-minded couple from Russia who are looking for unforgettable cultural experience. This is our first time using Couchsurfing to travel and we are really excited about that. Although, I made my profile long ago, with Anna I finally found courage to use it.

Well, as I see it as a great way to learn about people, some things that cant be touched by tourists eyes can be well displayed by locals. Also, when I think about it I imganie sitting with the host in the kitchen late at night and having a conversation about anything in the world and be surprised how much we are alike.

Anna and I met each others in the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation institute where we study together to become pliots and want to devote our life to the sky, which basically explains our intrests and passions.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In 2013 I applied for an exchange programm called FLEX and went to the US for an academic year. Well, this programm certainly changed my life completely. Being there with a wonderful host family who were amazing and really showed me all sides of their country, accepted me as their own son, loved me and shared their culture is something I will carry through my whole life and never ever forget.
