Born in Amsterdam, from a Dutch father and Swedish mother. We moved to Sweden when I was young but since I have Dutch family we regularly visited the country. Studying at Uppsala university (peace and conflict studies) and have done a year abroad in Vienna.

I'm on couchsurfing because it seems like a more fun, experience-filled and varied alternative to the classic hostel/hotel room-searching that traveling usually offers.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music is difficult to pinpoint, I listen to music most parts of the day. Varies from Kanye West, Anderson Paak, Kendrick, Chance and so on to more Flume, Miike Snow, CHVRCHES and alt-J and maaaany more. Of course you have to appreciate the native music aswell (Silvana Imam, Erik Lundin, Timbuktu) but I doubt it resonates much with the international crowd out here haha.

Movie-wise i'll just name a few stand-out ones from the past years: Interstellar, The Theory of Everything, Chappie, The Social Network, In Bruges, Four Lions (haha), Inception and Slumdog Millionaire. Probably a thousand more but those are the ones to pop up in my head..

Walking in the Redwood forests and then driving up north on the Highway 1 from San Fransisco was truly breath-taking.
