I live in a historical quiet part of Irkutsk (Russia, Siberia), near magnificent Baikal lake -- the future stronghold of our civilsation (I'll explain you why.)
My favourite hobby is... dreaming (in a Universal sense). I dream to change the world in a better way and I'll do that! I deeply love my city and my country, but I'm still in search of The Best Place in the World (maybe that's your place?). I like to make people happy and I enjoy being in a great mood myself!
While traveling I'm more interested into people. I belive almost each person is more precious, multi-dimensional, refinde and beautiful, than Effile Tower, Golden Gate or even Pacific Ocean. I myself accociate different cities with kind-hearted people I met there. I hope for somebody I'm also Anton-Irkutsk (Anton-Russia??).
So I am sincerely into original Couchsurfing spirit and I try my best to follow its original ideas, that expressed in this truthful article:

(Check it out, if you're noobie on the cite or having an intention to become my best guest of ever;)
An advice FOR IRKUTSK-BAIKAL VISITORS: It's better to stay at Irkutsk few days longer, using it as a trompline for Baikal. What you can do GENERALLY:
Irkutsk-Taltsy-Listvjanka-(Irkutsk) (1 day of cherishing)
Irkutsk-Listvjanka-Bolshie_Koty-Bolshoje_Goloustnoje-Listvjanka-Irkutsk (1-1,5 days of hiking)
Irkutsk-Sludanka-Baikal Circum Railway-Port Baikal - Listvjanka - Irkutsk (2 days of cool views)
Irkutsk-Olkhon_Island-Irkutsk (3-4 days of wilderness and shamanism)

+ catch a snap Russian language lesson from me: https://youtu.be/hsjAK7AR80Y
INSIDE OF IRKUTSK for 1-3 days explore: cafe NORA and cafe Baikal Love, 130 quartal, all the distance of embankment and остров юность, Kirov Square and Eternal Fire, Streets: Lenina, Karla Marxa, Uritskogo, Dekabrskych Sobytij, Central market + any museums and churches. Non-central parts: Central Library, Botanical garden-Contact zoo, Nerpenarium, Jakoby beech and surroundings, Ice braker museum and some bars of Нижняя набережная street at the evening and - suerly! - RUINS OF GORODOK IVATU (fantastic historical DISRTICT WHERE I LIVE)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always drunk with good poetry, respect those well-known masterpieces by Hugo, Marcel Proust, Thomas Mann and Leo Tolstoy, Borches' short stories, Bible (with comments of Aizek Azimov) and Richard Dockins' "Selfish gene" (what a combination!), almost all movies of Kubrick, Forman, Takeshi Kitano. I tempt to mention "Good bye, my concubine", "American beauty", "Andrey Rublev", "The third man", "Fight Club" and (why not?) "Groundhog Day" and "Death note". The leader of rewatching is "Home alone". As to music, I admire classic, folk, alt-rock and some cosmic intellegent girls with the soft unusual vocies like this:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Once upon a time I played in an alternative rock-band and wrote a lot of short stories.
2. After graduating I was chosen to work as a volunteer on the Olympic Games in Sochi. Then I traveled through many parts of Russia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help (anyhow), show my unprofessional cooking skills and magic tricks, give you conversations, stories, new experiences; play games and music together.
