Mother, wife and teacher, I'm an honest, simple, down-to-earth and easy-going person. I'm also friendly, emphatic, sincere and trustworthy. My husband Gianfranco is a lawyer and his job keeps him extremely busy (except on weekends). Our 14 year old son-Alberto-(born 2005) is a nice, friendly, sporty boy who loves hanging out with friends, playng football and swimming. He's respectful, polite, well behaved and enjoys learning English. We live in Leverano, a lively village in Salento (South of Apulia), near the white sand beaches and crystal water of the Ionian and Adriatic seas. Salento is a great tourist area, rich in culture and local traditions and characterized by amazing places and beautiful historical sites.
I'm a very positive and enthusiastic person... every morning I wake up smiling and full of energy. I love to adventure and explore....to take long walks by the beach or in nature; explore cities, visit museums and local attractions; attend cultural events; I love books, the cinema and the theatre...I like a lot of things, maybe too many!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems to be a wonderful way to connect with new people from different cultures and backgrounds. We mostly like to welcome like-minded people at our home in Salento, but we would like to be hosted too. Because of school routine, summer (or school holidays) is the best time for us to host. We don't host young travellers; we prefer to meet more mature surfers. We would be particularly happy to host English speaking families who are willing to speak their language with us, during their stay. As a result, if you are fluent in English and you have teenager children about the same age as my son, you are most than welcome. If you are a single traveller, please notice that we will only host female guests.
I would be happy to share nice and quality time with guests both at home or going out. I will enjoy showing them around, going to the beach, walking around town or in nature, having friendly chats about each other's lives, families, homes, while the children would have fun together, playing football, having swims, going cycling, playing videogames (but I usually set a time limit on them...)
I hope to give myself and my son the opportunity to make long lasting frienships!
